Commercially Pure (CP) Titanium Coiled Strip & Foil

Rolled Metal Products offers Commercially Pure (CP) Titanium Grades 1, 2, 3 & 4. We supply a high quality, precision Sendzimir rolled and tension leveled product, which can be used for deep draw, or stamp and form applications. Our lead times are typically shorter than competitors for a custom produced product. Other Titanium grades may also be supplied.

Unlike other suppliers, this product is annealed in Ebner bell furnaces, with Argon atmosphere. The process allows no oxygen in the sealed bell, eliminating the need for costly Scotchbrite® brushing.

Competition employs strand annealed product, where the furnaces are not completely tight, despite various seal schemes, which allow tenacious oxides to form on the strip surface.

These products offer high ductility, excellent corrosion resistance, moderate strengths, as well as resistance to elevated temperatures.

Customers’ have verified long tool life with this product, comparable or better than Scotchbrite® surfaces.

Typical applications include: medical, surgical and dental, heat exchangers, welded bellows, instrument diaphragms, crucibles, fasteners and aerospace components.
